if you dont want 2 burgers for the $10, get this 'free burger' and then big fries with a milkshake.

Community Reviews

Shake Shack is offering a free SmokeShack or other weekly promotional burger with a $10 plus purchase, and the best value comes from pairing it with fries, a shake, or another side to clear the minimum. The promo applies to the specific burger of the week, not any two burgers, and the credit can be capped below the full price of doubles or add ons like bacon. Ordering through the app or kiosk works, but the burger has to be added to the cart for the discount to trigger. It is a decent way to stretch a meal if you were already planning to go.

Better than BurgerFi and about even with Five Guys in my estimation these days, but I'm sure everyone has a local burger place that is better than these slightly better than McDonalds fast food options. That being said, a free burger on $10 spend isn't a bad deal, if you were going anyway

A $5 shake and some cheese fries puts you over $10. But then you have to deal with eating all that.

How would it get smaller? it's not like it's chicken tenders. Shake Shack uses 4oz patties (pre-cooked). They pre-weigh their patties so I'm not sure how it would be smaller unless they give you less oz of hamburger patty.

Burgers should really only be like $2.80 in $7.25/hr. states. In NY and CA $5 is fine
As someone in CA, I don't disagree with you. The scales are way different and prices should reflect the local economy.
