Its a $350 class 3 ebike. Its unlikely to be awesome. Its probably not a death trap. Non-zero chance something will be bent in shipping so be prepared to true some bits up. There's no telling if any of the electronics are repairable but....$350. I would not take it off roading, especially as a step through frame, which is inherently weaker to that kind of abuse. But $350 tester ebike.

Just be aware, class3 ebikes are illegal on public roads or heavily restricted in CA, NJ and NYC.

I've had this bike for a bit over a month with a couple hundred miles on it already. Just some thoughts. I also own a couple of Schwinn ebikes for comparison.

All the welds look very good.
Bike was simple to put together.
Everything was adjusted nice out of the box.
Range is pretty accurate (I'm sure the 80 miles is with pedal assist). I've been using it to commute to work (about 12 miles round trip). I mostly use the throttle to and from work. I end up with around 80% battery left.
The control box is under the bike and is not sealed. I highly recommend you use some silicone and seal it up. A common complaint is some water getting into the control box and burning it up.
Headlight is not very bright. I bought another light and installed it.
I use a bike trailer and pull my 2 littles around pretty often. Handles this beautifully.
Overall I enjoy riding it more than my Schwinns. Ordering another one for my wife.

How does it do on hills? I have 2 hills on a 3 mile commute to work that are reasonably big. Total daily trip would be less than 10 miles - but am worried how it would do climbing steepish hills even with the short range.

I have this bike, and I have been completely satified with it. I use it to haul around heavy loads, ride on rough gravel, and put it through the paces up pretty steep hills. It is really capable for the price. My only minor complaint, is that sometimes when I am just trying to ease forward slowly, that torquey little motor kicks in, thrusting sharply forward, and it has almost bucked me off on occasion. Now that I am aware of just how much pedaling is necessary to engage the motor, I am much more cautious and it has become a non-issue.

I got mine out of the garage today after many months ago receiving it. Had a shoulder repair surgery from an incident at work, which kept me from putting it together and riding. I paid right at $270 shipped from aliexpress. I have to admit the thing is a blast to ride. Yes the seat is not very comfortable. I can see why people change it out. And the brakes are mushy but they work. But the thing is really quick and rides pretty nice and smooth. Build quality seems very solid and well put together. Did not expected to be this nice for the price.

I got one of these last year for around the same price and if you can deal with the limitations, it's been solid. The braking distance is a bit on the long side and the pedal assist does not work well compared to my Ariel Rideal, but then again, that was over $1000. For casual rides on pavement, if you stick to the throttle, it's a blast. The build quality is far better than what one ought to expect for $300.

Excellent eBike. I got this about 2 months ago and has been nothing but good to me. I did end up upgrading the tires and tubes, but the build quality is definitely there. Has anyone here replaced the seat? If so, what did you go with?

Got this for my wife last year. She likes it as it's small enough for her to handle. It has plenty of power on steep hills. A couple weeks ago we took it on a 25 mile ride with an overall elevation change of about 1000' feet ( we live in the Rockies), and got home with plenty of battery to spare. The only thing we've changed so far is the handle bar height. Had to buy an adapter.

Just FYI, I got this bike a month ago, and after assembling it I noticed multiple issues with it. There were weird sounds coming from its gears and some parts were damaged too.

The seller didn't seem helpful so I wanted to return the bike. The seller refused the return and said I will have to pack it up and pay the return shipping fee. I escalated to AliExpress, and they also refused to help. Ultimately I had to escalate to PayPal and provide all documentation of my correspondence with AliExpress and the seller, and ultimately they decided in my favor and fully refunded the bike.

So BEWARE if you purchase this! Pay through PayPal if possible.
