The OmniBook X looks like a slim 14 inch OLED work laptop with a strong current gen Intel Core Ultra 7 356H, 1TB SSD, and USB C ports on both sides. The 3K 120Hz touch OLED and sturdy build get the most praise, and the chip is described as efficient enough to help battery life and thermals. The main concern is the 16GB RAM, which feels tight for heavier multitasking, and the display has been flagged for a screen door effect on white text. The integrated graphics are also seen as modest, so it fits best as a polished everyday machine rather than a heavy creator rig.

  • The Intel Core Ultra 7 356H can deliver efficient performance with lower power draw for better thermals.

    Dr.W

  • The configuration can feel solid for everyday productivity because the main practical limitation is the 16GB RAM.

    Chrispy1974

  • The laptop can offer a rugged build and a 3K OLED touch display experience for work-focused use.

    Chrispy1974

  • Registering the device on Lenovo's site can extend warranty coverage for about a year and may add 2-3 years onsite.

    Hat-Trick

  • Power-on-hour readings can be unreliable, especially for store models or sealed units, making used-condition checks less trustworthy.

    Hat-TrickNashCoug

  • The 16GB LPDDR5 memory can feel limiting for heavier multitasking with multiple Chrome browsers.

    dealhopper2

  • Reviews can report a screen door effect on white text, which can reduce display clarity.

    dlinders10

  • The integrated GPU performance can be slower than Intel Arc 140T and 140V options on newer Ultra 7 chips.

I would try registering the laptop on lenovo.com and see if they give you a full year warranty. The nice thing about Lenovo is their extended warranties are affordably priced. So for a few bucks you could extend to 2-3 years ONSITE and be happy. Try it out -- you just need to create a lenovo.com account and then register a device here: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/...myproducts
I'm returning the Lenovo and doing this... https://slickdeals.net/f/19489371

Who in their right mind would spend $1600 on this? If I had $1600 to spend, I'd seriously be looking at the Asus Zenbook A16 with 48GB RAM and also 3K OLED 120Hz (and the new Snapdragon X2 Elite). The A16 is brand new, but give it some time, and wait for great deals for less.

I like the usb c on each side of the laptop. Be aware reviews say it has a pretty bad screen door effect on white text.

Ruggedly built, 3k tough OLED, strong (by all reports I've viewed) current gen processor...I've seen this configuration before...and the only real knock on it that I could find was the RAM...Sure, I'd prefer an X7 for the beefier GPU capabilities...but still this looks pretty solid?
The 4 Core iGPU on this slower than arc 140T in Lunar Lake and arc 140V in Arrow Lake Ultra 7 Processors.
