Great deal, just wish it came with more than 16GB RAM.... Thats been obsolete since... yesterday, the moment you use the darn thing for anything more than a few chrome browsers...

this cpu is pretty weak at this price other similar power level cpus (according to cpu benchmark) have been on sale recently for far less.
Really? I haven't seen anything calling out this CPU (or really any of the Panther Lake) as weak? Happy to dive into a reference though if you have one?

He does not, neither is he speaking from any authentic sources of information. The processor is not "pretty weak" by any means. It's comparable to the previous gen Ultra 7 255H but consumes 10-12% lower power (25W TDP) thereby making it very efficient which translates to significantly better battery life and thermals.

Ruggedly built, 3k tough OLED, strong (by all reports I've viewed) current gen processor...I've seen this configuration before...and the only real knock on it that I could find was the RAM...Sure, I'd prefer an X7 for the beefier GPU capabilities...but still this looks pretty solid?

If I didn't get a first gen snapdragon laptop I would have gotten this model with 32 Gb ram.

My LG - gram 17" Laptop - Intel Evo Platform 13th Gen Intel Core i7 with 32GB RAM - 1TB NVMe SSD - Black is now a brick.
Would this be a suitable replacement? I do not game. Just use for work i.e. multiple tabs, excel sheets, multiple programs like word. I did like the bigger screen on the old LG and also it was very light, which was also great. Budget up to $2K.

Who in their right mind would spend $1600 on this? If I had $1600 to spend, I'd seriously be looking at the Asus Zenbook A16 with 48GB RAM and also 3K OLED 120Hz (and the new Snapdragon X2 Elite). The A16 is brand new, but give it some time, and wait for great deals for less.

Check out the Asus Zenbook S16 Open Box at BB...not the cheapest price for Open Box Excellent, but for the price, it's a beautifully thin and light laptop with a gorgeous 3K OLED panel. I have one and love it.

Bought Used Excellent Laptop - Would You Keep?

I bought an open excellent condition Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition 15 inch for over 40% off MSRP ($857). I'm pretty sure this was a store model as the battery checker shows that it was in AC only no battery used. That means the battery was at 100% charge the whole time.

I ran Crystal Disk Info and it shows health status 93% good and 5435 power on hours.

I was more hoping for a laptop that someone had bought and returned a couple weeks later.

Would you keep it if you plan to use this the next 10 years?

Personally, I would not keep a known display model. I will say that I do not trust the power-on hours figure as I have seen brand new, sealed in box laptops with a reading of thousands of power on hours. I'm familiar with your laptop because I had the same laptop before the Zenbook S 16! It's a really great laptop. Is it the 16GB or 32GB version?

32gb. I wanted a 14 inch laptop but settled on this because it was such a good deal. Going tuk return it and keep my eyes peeled. I'm between a Zenbook S or Yoga. Costco has the 14 inch aura version for $1200 and I'm hoping it goes on sale eventually. A couple of weeks ago I saw an open box excellent Zenbook S for $820. Just would be a pain to keep buying and returning if they all have 5000+ hours.
