This is an important concern, especially as a cat owner! Unfortunately, the Costa Farms 4-Pack Indoor Houseplants are not confirmed cat-safe.

Here's what we know:

The varieties vary — each pack may include Peace Lily, Snake Plant, Pothos, Dieffenbachia, Fern, or others
Several of these are toxic to cats, including Peace Lily, Pothos, and Dieffenbachia
Costa Farms' own response states: "Plants are not intended for human or animal consumption. Keep out of reach of children and pets."
You cannot request specific plant varieties, so there's no guarantee of receiving only cat-safe options
Given that you have cats at home, I'd recommend avoiding this pack unless you can ensure the plants are completely safe

Thank you so much. You were so kind to look all this up for us. I have three rescued cats left and want to keep alive the ones I have, plus the dog Smilie

Peace lily's are very dangerous for cats.

The rest of these are relatively safe. (you know, the whole "if the cat eats the whole thing they won't feel well" schtick)

I've bought two money trees from them, one in the winter time, and they were fine.

You have a couple of options. Amazon will replace them, they just don't accept returns. You'll have to provide photo evidence. In addition, there's usually info included from the grower with their guarantee. I like to deal with them directly only because they handle more than just damaged goods when it comes to customer satisfaction.

Cat owners, may I suggest cat grass if you haven't tried it. Munching on any houseplant is going to cause stomach upset. You can get it live at your pet store in the warmer months or grow it yourself. It's easy and fast-growing as herbs. I station them in windows around the house and my cats much prefer it. They don't want to be sick anymore than we do. It's cereal grass and like fiber, aids in their digestion.

I ordered a set of 8 plants from Costa back in March and they arrived in good shape, well packaged. They're all thriving.
