If you are having connectivity issues because you don't have enough coverage, yes. If not, no reason to add extra interferance into your ecosystem. I actually went from a 3 mesh system down to a single non-mesh router in the center of my house all my connections improved dramatically...

I think when I looked up if you control transmission power it said no, so can't get it. Most routers will hurt my head if I don't turn down tx power.
