This EGO 8000 series mower stands out for strong cutting power, self propulsion, and a dual blade setup that feels like a real upgrade over the base model. The 7.5Ah battery is often described as good for roughly 30 to 60 minutes, with fast charging around 40 minutes, and the mower handles thick grass, weeds, and even wet lawns better than expected. The main cautions are weight and battery longevity, since it is still a heavy machine and runtime drops in dense or tall grass. A practical pick for medium yards if you value electric convenience and can work within the battery limits.
Buyers who already own compatible batteries or can use the spare elsewhere, because the extra battery can be returned or repurposed to lower the mower's net cost.
Homeowners with a medium yard who want a quieter electric mower, because the 7.5Ah battery can cover about a quarter acre to an hour of mowing.
People mowing thick or overgrown grass who want strong cutting power, because the dual-blade setup and extra torque handle dense turf better than basic models.
Owners who want a low-maintenance alternative to gas, because it avoids oil and filter changes and can keep working for years with proper battery care.
Shoppers expecting battery ownership to be worry-free for years, because lithium packs can degrade and may need replacement outside warranty.
People with very thick, tall grass who expect uninterrupted mowing, because it can jam three to four times per mow in dense turf.
Homeowners with large lawns around an acre, because a single 7.5Ah battery is only good for about a quarter acre on level ground.
Buyers who need a lightweight mower for lifting or storage, because this model is heavy even though self-propel helps on the lawn.

Edit: Nevermind, Lowes is now showing $218 for me, will definitely snag it at that price if I can get that to refund.
But that's just my nickle worth of opinion.
edit: Most recently I bought an expensive no-name battery for my Shark vacuum. It was supposed to have good brand name cells. It was supposed to be a 3500mah replacement for my OEM 2350mah. How can it be 3500mah and not be able to clean the exact same room that my OEM 2350 battery does? Somewhere, somebody is lying! I did complain, I did offer proof, and I did end up getting that battery for free. Squeaky wheels get the grease. But what is your time worth to you?
I returned the extra battery and I have not needed a second (even with mowing the yard, swapping to my weed wacker, and blower).
Okay enough deal for $450, after returning the extra battery. A gas mower is vastly superior, I keep my grass decently high (setting 6 on this) and it's extremely thick, this mower jams up 3-4 times a mow versus my old gas Johndeere.

Anyway, I returned my extra battery today from Amazon and received an after-tax refund of $232.81.
I placed my order through Amazon, but I would imagine both would honor it. And I say this because this is the same thing people do with the BOGO tool deals during Black Friday.

Which store is refunding $212 for the battery? I see $152 at Lowe's if you can get it returned there, but $212 would be very tempting
