I haven't tracked prices on the powerstack batteries but iirc the inflator is frequently ~100 on sale by itself. This seems quite slick.

The inflator is one of my most-used DeWalt products.

I have this thing and it's pretty solid. The PSI dial makes it easy to crank it to 50 PSI and do golf grips the lazy way.

Interesting. What do you use it for? Do you just inflate a lot of things? Or does it do other stuff too?

Where I live gets big temperature swings that necessitate adjusting tire pressure somewhat often. This is not as quick as a compressor with a tank, but way more portable and the selectable pressure shutoff is plenty accurate.

And the low pressure/high volume side is very fast. I've used it for a 10' diameter wading pool, a queen size air mattress, and lots of beach balls and other kids' toys.

I have one of these and it's is great. Use it for airing up tires on vehicle, bikes, mower, etc. It also has a mode to blow up inflatables with a separate hose and high air flow. Very useful for pool floats and air mattresses. Being portable is very convenient. We use it more than I would have thought. I even have a smaller AH battery and it always has enough power for whatever I'm doing.

Can it do both paddle boards and car tires?

DeWalt needs to make a compressor/battery jump start that runs on their 20v batteries. I'd buy that just to be able to use my existing DeWalt batteries. There's tons of small compressors for like $10, albeit weaker, to take this product seriously, as is. If I need something more powerful, then I might as well just use a real compressor.

In for 1. I have the Milwaukee (https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa...-US&fp=ggl) and it works, but it is slow and the battery dies pretty fast. I cannot air up two cars before it dies. My buddy has this Dewalt and I used it the other day. That was all it took. This is solid and I am glad I grabbed one.

I bought one of these 6 years ago. It is great to have and easy to use. Glad I got it a while ago for $89.
