Some states are getting even more restrictive than the 750w/20mph Class 2 'standard' in the past few weeks. Check your statutes, or developing legislation locally, before committing to this - if it's going to be used for more than just casual leisure.

Does a E bike need lights and signals? Does a bicycle need that stuff ? I'm not being a smart ass . Idk if this is considered a different category than a bike as far as law enforcement. I'm not looking to go on a major highway but are regular streets ok or do I need to be concerned about getting pulled over?

No, This is an off-road model, so it doesn't have any lights. However, knobby tires can be a bit slippery on paved surfaces. So ride with caution on paved surfaces if allowed. During & right after it rains the oil/gas that drips off cars makes the middle of intersections a bit slippery.

Most states require headlight light and reflectors for bikes at night on roads. Rear tail light recommended if you are on roads at night.

Bicycles do not need that stuff, but this is not a bicycle. In almost all of America, anything over 750 watts would be considered a moped or motorcycle. Riding it on public roads would risk traffic citations and possible confiscation. Check your local regulations.

No pedals will clearly give it away that its not street legal in pa. Plus although this is an ebike. Its a dirt bike so you'll be taking a big chance riding on roads. I've dig it and seen plenty of kids/young adults ride around the city. So far haven't seen any doing reckless things and just basically riding with safety. Hope that helps.

It matters for your safety. Technically any e-bike need those and helmets are a must. All bikes come with reflectors and sometimes taillight or headlights. If they don't it is optional to get them on your bike. I would so you can be seen. Helmets are must. Def get one if you have an e-bike. Laws vary state by state for adults but kids are a must. I think under 16. I never heard anyone get an actual fine for not wearing a helmet even on a bike but I did hear from someone getting a ticket on a regular bike riding the opposite direction. He was on a main popular street so good chance to get that kind of attention from law enforcement. There's a possibility of any e-bike or dirt bike being confiscated but it depends what kind of law enforcement you run into. I have an e-bike that goes 31mph like 34mph downhill and tbh its not fast enough. It resembles a moped looking type bike and has actual working pedals and not just foot pedals. Weight of rider matters but I just ride for fun. I want to go faster. Safety of course!

My son has this. We bought it a couple weeks ago. It's an amazing deal. Range is about 25m. Top speed is about 35. It's a tuttio clone does not have a far driver controller but the controller it does have is tunable

it needs pedals in most states as far as I know for it to be street legal without registration of some sort

Don't you have to be 5 foot nothing to ride a bike with a 12 inch tire? I already have my knees up waay too high to pedal comfortably with 20 inch bikes, can't imagine trying to ride these.

My son has this as well; he's 5'. I'm able to enjoy riding it at 6' tall. In mode 3, the range doesn't seem to be great. If I was looking for another e dirt bike, I'd buy again at this price. Pretty easy to assemble. Front fender was cracked in shipping.
