1 - as another commenter said, this can go up to 20 miles an hour. My kids obviously fight me on wearing a helmet, so I won't let it go over 10 miles an hour because they would 100% break their body if going 20 miles an hour down the street and make a misrepresentation of the terrain or objects in the road.
2 - when I first got and assembled it, I rode around the neighborhood for no more than 500 yards. By the time I got back, all four of the screws that held the handlebars into the post were gone - Somewhere in the street. I tightened them manually too. Unfortunately, I replaced these with some screws at lowe's, and even those ones started falling out. You will 100% want to Loctite these screws, or secure all of them with lots of duct tape.
3 - you feel EVERY bump on this. It is truly jarring when you're going 15 plus miles an hour and hit even a small crack in the road. Shock absorbers would be so much better if you're riding any paved trails or roads.
4 - the technology is great. but, my largest complaint is if I want to lock this (so no one can take it), I have to stay connected to bluetooth. If I walk away it turns off and has been inconsistent at staying locked. Easy way to lose your cool new scooter!
5 - the turning radius to the left is only about 20 degrees but to the right is about 70 degrees... No idea why this is, but it's not too terrible while riding it... Just weird.
Overall I think I would buy this again, but I also would heavily consider buying a different one with shock absorbers.
However, with no shock absorbers and solid tires, every bump is feels extra jarring and it makes the scooter very unsettling to ride in the city streets. I switch lane (not swerve) to avoid a big bump and the back end hit another bump causing the back end to give out. That was a bad fall while going 19mph.
Overall, if you are riding this on a nice pave path, it works well. But if you plan to ride this in the city, might want to invest in something with shock absorbers.
Community Reviews
This is a budget electric scooter that stands out for short neighborhood rides and kid use, with app-based speed limits and enough punch to reach the high teens or low 20s for lighter riders. The solid tires and lack of suspension make bumps harsh, and real-world range can land far below the 21 mile rating. Loose hardware, inconsistent Bluetooth locking, and warranty support tied to the original seller are also reported, making it a practical but rough-edged option.
Adults wanting a low-cost scooter for quick errands, because it can reach the mid-teens to low-20s mph and handle around 10 miles in real use.
Parents setting a younger rider's speed limit, because the app offers performance profiles that can cap it around 9 mph.
Short-distance neighborhood riders on smooth paved paths, because it feels stable enough there but becomes jarring on rough city streets.
Families buying a first scooter for kids or teens, because it is easy to ride and the speed can be dialed back for safer use.
Longer-range riders, because real-world battery life can drop to about 4 to 10 miles instead of the advertised 21 miles.
Heavy riders near the load limit, because the scooter can feel weak and may break apart under higher stress at speed.
City riders crossing cracked pavement or curbs, because the solid tires and lack of suspension make every bump harsh and can contribute to a fall.
Adults who want a confidence-inspiring commuter, because the ride feels harsh and the handlebars may need extra securing.

This.
My son, wife wanted a scooter so that he can "run" around town on his own. I said he has a bike, why not bike his way to wherever.
Son says - i can go to my soccer game faster on the scooter and wont be tired when i get to the field and thats what my teammates do.
I am still resisting as i think biking is what kids should be doing but its a losing battle

These are great for kids and even teens, but I would not want this version as an adult. I actually got the ESMAX for me with suspension and pneumatic tires and it's far more confidence inspiring riding around as an adult male. For what these are though, I would highly recommend.
