I bought this about a month ago. I have two older kids who love riding this everywhere. You should be aware of a few things though:
1 - as another commenter said, this can go up to 20 miles an hour. My kids obviously fight me on wearing a helmet, so I won't let it go over 10 miles an hour because they would 100% break their body if going 20 miles an hour down the street and make a misrepresentation of the terrain or objects in the road.
2 - when I first got and assembled it, I rode around the neighborhood for no more than 500 yards. By the time I got back, all four of the screws that held the handlebars into the post were gone - Somewhere in the street. I tightened them manually too. Unfortunately, I replaced these with some screws at lowe's, and even those ones started falling out. You will 100% want to Loctite these screws, or secure all of them with lots of duct tape.
3 - you feel EVERY bump on this. It is truly jarring when you're going 15 plus miles an hour and hit even a small crack in the road. Shock absorbers would be so much better if you're riding any paved trails or roads.
4 - the technology is great. but, my largest complaint is if I want to lock this (so no one can take it), I have to stay connected to bluetooth. If I walk away it turns off and has been inconsistent at staying locked. Easy way to lose your cool new scooter!
5 - the turning radius to the left is only about 20 degrees but to the right is about 70 degrees... No idea why this is, but it's not too terrible while riding it... Just weird.

Overall I think I would buy this again, but I also would heavily consider buying a different one with shock absorbers.

I bought this scooter a little over a year ago. It has worked well as a "last mile" transportation device.
However, with no shock absorbers and solid tires, every bump is feels extra jarring and it makes the scooter very unsettling to ride in the city streets. I switch lane (not swerve) to avoid a big bump and the back end hit another bump causing the back end to give out. That was a bad fall while going 19mph.
Overall, if you are riding this on a nice pave path, it works well. But if you plan to ride this in the city, might want to invest in something with shock absorbers.

I got One of these and my 8-year-old crashed it and broke her arm the first day we had it. The software lets you set 4 performance profiles, so if you have a younger kid you can set it down to a max speed of 9 mph if you'd like. This thing will haul though. I'm 265 pounds which is right at the max recommended and I've got it up to 22mph before.

We have two of these. Refurbs from the manufacturer. Really great scooters without making a huge investment. I've read you can hack them to go faster, but haven't explored it.

I need help. I don't know to get this or the other one posted that's a littler cheaper price wise. I'm a male 5'10 175lbs and need it just to get to work a few blocks away. I've never had an electric scooter before

I always want to scoop one of these up for when I drop my car off at the mechanic but I just don't trust the cheap chinese batteries to not burn my house down
they are all made in china, even the huge brand named ones.

Great deal! Unfortunately Ali barely ships to Hawaii anymore. I always wind up disappointed.

Any good ones with softer suspension? These are hard and can feel slight bumps

I'm 6,3 220lbs it goes 15mph Greta for small distances, pretty sure this is the same here on Amazon for 20$ more and it's fully backed by Amazon without dealing with AliExpress return https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FM7HDFBJ

Amazon one has no rear disk break and is 6Ah battery or smaller at the 12 mile range in spec/fine print. Worse than the $98 deal on Aliexpress.
At that price you could get one with suspension on Aliexpress which would be meaningful difference
