Top Comments
1 - as another commenter said, this can go up to 20 miles an hour. My kids obviously fight me on wearing a helmet, so I won't let it go over 10 miles an hour because they would 100% break their body if going 20 miles an hour down the street and make a misrepresentation of the terrain or objects in the road.
2 - when I first got and assembled it, I rode around the neighborhood for no more than 500 yards. By the time I got back, all four of the screws that held the handlebars into the post were gone - Somewhere in the street. I tightened them manually too. Unfortunately, I replaced these with some screws at lowe's, and even those ones started falling out. You will 100% want to Loctite these screws, or secure all of them with lots of duct tape.
3 - you feel EVERY bump on this. It is truly jarring when you're going 15 plus miles an hour and hit even a small crack in the road. Shock absorbers would be so much better if you're riding any paved trails or roads.
4 - the technology is great. but, my largest complaint is if I want to lock this (so no one can take it), I have to stay connected to bluetooth. If I walk away it turns off and has been inconsistent at staying locked. Easy way to lose your cool new scooter!
5 - the turning radius to the left is only about 20 degrees but to the right is about 70 degrees... No idea why this is, but it's not too terrible while riding it... Just weird.
Overall I think I would buy this again, but I also would heavily consider buying a different one with shock absorbers.
However, with no shock absorbers and solid tires, every bump is feels extra jarring and it makes the scooter very unsettling to ride in the city streets. I switch lane (not swerve) to avoid a big bump and the back end hit another bump causing the back end to give out. That was a bad fall while going 19mph.
Overall, if you are riding this on a nice pave path, it works well. But if you plan to ride this in the city, might want to invest in something with shock absorbers.
Community Reviews
This is a budget electric scooter that stands out for short neighborhood rides and kid use, with app-based speed limits and enough punch to reach the high teens or low 20s for lighter riders. The solid tires and lack of suspension make bumps harsh, and real-world range can land far below the 21 mile rating. Loose hardware, inconsistent Bluetooth locking, and warranty support tied to the original seller are also reported, making it a practical but rough-edged option.
Common Questions (5)
Real-world top speed is often around 16-17 mph for a 185-195 lb rider, with some reaching 20-22 mph near the max load. The scooter can feel much faster than the spec suggests, so helmet use matters.
It has solid tires and no shock absorbers, so bumps can feel very jarring on city streets and cracked pavement. It works better on smooth paved paths, and several riders would prefer a suspension model for adult use.
The advertised 21-mile range is under ideal conditions; practical range is often closer to 4-10 miles depending on rider weight and terrain. One flat-terrain ride reached 9 miles round trip with 2 of 5 battery bars left, while another user got about 4 miles before it slowed down.
Yes, the software supports four performance profiles, and the top speed can be set as low as 9 mph for younger riders. That makes it easier to keep kids below the scooter's full 19-22 mph capability.
The handlebar screws can work loose quickly, so they should be secured with Loctite or another strong threadlocker. One rider had all four screws fall out within a short neighborhood ride, even after replacing them with hardware-store screws.

Kids have limitless energy and should be peddling normal bikes, running, or at least on a normal scooter pushing off with a foot.
I'm sure I'm gonna get down voted and go right ahead, but you all raising a bunch of lazy overweight kids. They don't need anything electric to make them go faster or longer.
My son, wife wanted a scooter so that he can "run" around town on his own. I said he has a bike, why not bike his way to wherever.
Son says - i can go to my soccer game faster on the scooter and wont be tired when i get to the field and thats what my teammates do.
I am still resisting as i think biking is what kids should be doing but its a losing battle
