Based on a Google search and some reviews the quality is hot or miss on these from China. I'm not saying imports are bad from any specific country. But recent comments and reviews make me a bit concerned. Not a lot of reviews on Amazon for this listing
I think I'll pass. I'm not going to trust a cheap filter on my car. I'd rather get mobile 1 and save on costly repairs later. Best of luck friends!
These filters are fine, just change your oil every 5k. Its much more worth changing your oil often and using these filters that do the job rather than buy $19.00 filters that last 15k (now thats a hot mess) and you wind up changing your oil at 5k.

Theoretically, a 5k rated filter lasts 5k miles without major concerns. However, filters get gradually clogged before reaching the rated mileage and the efficiency drops. Best go with 10k rated at a few extra bucks even making change every 5k miles.
All the posts for filters are for basically all brands except Honda. just my luck.

Purolator 14610 for many Hondas and 14612 for many Nissans are identical besides the length, so this filter may be used for Honda vehicles if you do not mind 14612 having smaller filter area.

I personally do mind having smaller filter area (not trying to sound like a D!ck) with all due respect.
I just trust the Honda Engineers since I had and have high milage hondas that have served me well for many many years. Cleaner oil is better oil, especially when it comes to longevity.
("if it ain't broke, dont fix it" philosophy) I could be wrong.
I've had terrible experience with Nissans along with a large population of their car owners. Leads me to believe too many corners are being cut. Maybe that's why filters for their vehicles are cheaper, they're smaller.
I don't know exactly why, but you've just given me something to seriously think about and take into consideration I appreciate it.

I usually buy the higher PurolatorONE Advanced filters that lasts 15k miles. They had these on sale last year for $5. Double the price but 3x the miles.

Yes, I found out this accidently. had a filter for civic and i used it for the CX5. CX5 uses same filter as my Nissan. Essensentally same filter for all 3 of my cars.
