Does anyone know if there is a limit? Also, as a heads up, my Dollar General requires paying in cash for gift cards. From what I have seen, that is pretty common.

I think it can vary by store on whether they take credit cards. The DG near me takes credit cards for gift cards, but I have seen posters on SD report that their stores don't.I don't see any purchase limits in the terms, so I think no. There are sometimes gift card deals at DG that do have explicit limits.

I had to go to three stores to get what I wanted. First one said cash only and wouldn't load more than like $20 on that card. Second one said card is fine but they can only do $200, so I took that. Third one let me buy $1500 worth with card no issues. I thought I'd post on here to share my experience and to give others heads up. I would recommend you try a bunch of stores in your area until someone lets you get what you want. Very annoying and took me like 45 minutes all said and done.
