Warning - many cable ISPs no longer accept DOCSIS 3.0 modems since 2026. They now require DOCSIS 3.1 due to infrastructure changes to accommodate higher speed. So check with your ISP first before buying, or else you'll be like me, spent hundreds on a new brick.

worth it just for the power adapter. a while back my arris 3.1 modem was offline one morning. turned out to be the power adapter. id previously purchased a couple of refurbished backups just for those power adapters.
