This Husqvarna 150BT is a strong entry-level backpack blower known for serious power, easy starting, and long-term durability. Community reports describe units still running well after 7 to 20 years, often with little more than a spark plug or fuel line replacement, and parts are said to be easy to find. The sale price is far below recent big-box pricing, though the warranty boost requires buying Husqvarna pre-mixed fuel and the fuel mix must be handled correctly. It is also a gas blower, so California restrictions and noise or fumes may matter for some yards.

  • Homeowners with half-acre yards and lots of trees, because the blower has tons of power and handles repeated use for years with only minor maintenance.

  • Landscapers wanting a durable gas backpack blower, because it starts easily, keeps strong power, and can run for a decade or more with few repairs.

  • People who service outdoor equipment themselves, because parts are easy to find and the blower is straightforward to maintain with ethanol-free fuel.

  • Big-yard cleanup jobs, because the backpack design delivers far more runtime and power than a battery blower on full throttle.

  • Small-yard owners with close neighbors, because the gas engine's revving and fumes can be annoying and unnecessary for lighter cleanup.

  • Buyers who want a quieter, lower-emission yard tool, because gas blowers are noisy and produce fumes that some prefer to avoid.

  • Anyone who is likely to use the wrong fuel mix, because the engine can be damaged by incorrect gas ratios.

  • California homeowners, because this gas backpack blower is illegal there.

Honest question, why don't folks you know, mulch their leaves? It is free nutrients, and takes WAY less time. Nobody really cares about your golf course yard, there are other ways to avoid your family. Thankfully, these are illegal in my city. Anyway, ready to take the hate from all the lifted white truck pavement princesses.
Because they're too busy growing the #1 crop in the nation: grass that serves no purpose.

Paid almost to the penny, the same amount for a refurbished version, exact same model, on EBay in 2017. Buying one just because..

Yeah I really hate all that extra power and not having to constantly recharge batteries.

I'm pretty surprised this deal is still available; wondering exactly how many of these Lowe's has?!?

Bought a refurbished one a few years ago. Starts up first pull every time. I use mine 3 times per week just to piss off the Karens in my neighborhood. Love it!

I've had mine for at least 5 years. I only had one problem, a cracked fuel line but it was a quick and easy replacement with a part off Amazon. Not too uncommon for a 2 cycle apparently. Tons of power, great for my half acre yard that's completely surrounded by trees. I kept upgrading until I got to the backpack blower and haven't looked back. Considered going electric if this ever dies but still hanging in there. From the sounds of it, will continue to hang in there for another 5 years at least.

Consider going battery-powered/electric. Gas leaf blowers are terrible for the environment and extremely annoying to your neighbors.
I have a relatively small yard . I rake my leaves then use a corded Black & Decker blower/ vacuum mulcher to mulch and am happy with it. I also have an across the street neighbor with backpack and handheld 2 stroke blowers and the way he uses it, with the up and down revs vrooom vroom vroom vroom vroom ad nauseum is indeed annoying. If he kept it at max rpm the whole time it would be less so. He also takes numerous breaks so this goes on for hours. He also mows his lawn 3x / week. So I see your points.

Dang, looks like I just missed it. The image still has Deal of the Day on it but the price is back to $400. Congrats to those who got them; it's a fabulous machine. I destroyed mine by picking up the wrong gas (regular vs 50:1) one day.

I mean, even just four-stroke blowers are far better. Why not get one of those if electric doesn't cover your needs?
