I bought 3 of these for $50 each in January. It is powerful; but it is heavy. I prefer Black & Decker one than this one. For B&D one, it is built for trimming & edging vs this one with only for trimming & no edging. B&D is light and easy to use.

You can actually rotate the head of this, as it is split shaft. Enabling you to edge with it.
The kobalt is heavier, though its a bit more powerful than the B&D in my experience as well.
Also... Agreed that the B&Decker is light and easy to use. My wife prefers it.

The kobalt is heavier, though its a bit more powerful than the B&D in my experience as well.
