There's a 48 hour return window for blowers and garden equipment according to the stores. They purchased a handheld one that was notably weaker hoping it would be good for drying off the car. When I tried to return it, they threw this rule in my face, even though it's not really a garden related product in my opinion. Afterwards I ended up going online and processing the return to be dropped off at a local store and it worked for my specific one. The same people who initially denied me processed the return after I showed them the online request. Other models like this one may be held to the 48 hours.

I'm guessing the reason they have this policy was because people bought, used, and then returned. So basically regular customers have to suffer the consequences.

Their return policy indicates 30 days on OPE like this. Your experience seems to be an individual problem. Lowes has variable in store experiences, which is why I would stick to app/website based processes when possible. 80V Kobalt is not sold in stores which makes the in store issue more problematic.
I have the 800cfm version of this blower which is great. Very powerful, relatively quieter , and a torquey air output, with a broad nozzle option, which seems useful. Much better than the old 500cfm Kobalt model and also better than the 80V Greenworks that I have (700 something cfm)

Same here and it was worth every penny. I was worried about battery life but it does 5x the work my Makita blower did in the same amount of time. The 4ah should be plenty unless people have massive yards.

Going with Ryobi batteries was such a mistake. Now I have three 18v batteries. But the blower I want with no battery is $159 and only blows 550 CFM. This one is cheaper, comes with a battery, and blows 700 CFM. I messed up.
