Fairly certain that is a no, Milwaukee is one of a couple brands that doesn't use the "universal" style attachments.

Universal connect works with a lot of brands, but not Milwaukee. I have a picture of it from the kobalt UC pole saw attachment i got, I can list compatible brands if you'd like.

Can anyone see the design flaw that keeps getting mentioned in the reviews? I think its the small tab that sticks down below the wheel to keep the edger against whatever you are edging. I'm guessing if you have not already established a groove from previous edging it likely will take a bit of effort to drop the blade in and start one thus the complaints. Not a big deal but a better design would be to have that guide be able to be disengaged -- especially for edging mulch and/or flower beds.

Could you give more details of the Hart brand, and a URL if possible? Thanks.

The site shows that is is compatible with "Universal Connect" systems, which should include Ryobi, Toro, DeWalt, Troy-Bilt, Worx, and Kobalt. I'm in for one!

I think almost all of these are made more or less the same way, typically I just hold it on the edge I want to start, hit the button a few times to slice down with the blade until I get down to the actual edging height and then start riding the guide against the curb, once you're down in the ground the metal piece doesn't really cause any issues, even if there's not a curb to follow with it. This one does put that edge further back than most which isn't ideal, so you have to get a little further into your cut, I have the Worx Nitro and the tab is much closer to the blade. Either way I wouldn't be super worried about it at this price point.

Ego attachments work on Milwaukee M18 Quik-Lok Power Heads if you slice off a plastic nubbin, but not vice versa (Ego Power Head spline is too short for Milwaukee attachments). That might be why some people are wondering about cross compatibility, it exists, but not for these.

Ego Compatible?

No, Greenworks have a square head, Ego have a T30 (7 spline), you need an adaptor. EGO, Milwaukee and Makita are compatible, while the rest of the industry use square.
On my Greenworks I use Stihl Brush attachment and a Ryobi Edger.
