Is that really a bad thing?
I imagine some people wouldn't mind a wired keyboard - no worries about battery swelling... or eventual battery degradation as the device gets old.
It's also a keyboard - how often is that getting moved or shifted around compared to something like a mouse?

I prefer wired for desktop setup. Only downside is cable management. If your moving around all over the place, then sure wireless is the way to go.

Honestly, same.
I replied to that guy b/c in his particular instance, he prefers wireless... which is fine but other people may not want or need wireless capability. I feel like ultimately, the point of this forum is to discuss if this is a good deal or not (and why).
