$250 or no real competition to any other established bands.
I tried most of the brands that compete with the AirPods Max over the past couple of years and these are my favorite. However, I agree with this. They are simply too expensive. If they were ~$250, I would've kept them.
Anyone who's complaining about the price has never owned one of these. The ROI for the amount of time you use them over the years is insane. Buy once cry once. The quality of the noise cancelling, transparency mode, and ease of connecting to the iphone/ipad/mac makes this a God sent for parents with young kids/toddlers

I have tried these and there is NOTHING about them functionally nor in sound or build quality that is better than a $300 pair from B&W, Sony, or Bose

I have Sonys & Boses & audio-technicas, a whole storage box full of headphones and these ones are infinitely better than any of them, the ease of use alone wins everytime.
