In Pennsylvania, Class 4 electric bikes (exceeding 20-28 mph or >750W) are generally not considered standard bicycles and are classified as "Motor-Driven Cycles". They require registration, insurance, and a valid license to be operated legally on public roads, and they are typically prohibited on non-motorized trails and sidewalks.

Same for colorado. Basically the determining factor is whether it has rotating pedals or not.
To be legal on public roads and bike paths in Colorado and most states, not only does it have to have functional pedals, but it can't be over 750 watts and is restricted to 20mph if it has a throttle. Otherwise, it needs registration and insurance.

News: "Kitchen knife killed someone. Mother is getting charged for her son using kitchen knife"

You: "DO NOT BUY KITCHEN KNIFE, unless you are a certified Chef in a restaurant"

Key point: Do not get discouraged from buying wonderful products because of an accident.
People are going to be people.
E-bikes are easily one of the best things to become massively available.
No need to wait at stop lights, no gas. I bet you can get to the same place at the same time as a car (within 5 to 10 miles) or even faster in heavy traffic areas with an e-bike. They are wonderful

I agree with all except the stop lights. When operating on the road, ebikes must still obey traffic laws. And when on a sidewalk, must still wait for the correct light for pedestrians.

That's how old dudes get killed.

I can't seem to get free shipping. Wants to charge me nearly $700 shipping.
Maybe free shipping is location dependent.

does it have a far driver and able to be optimized like a tuttio as well? is it the same bike or something that only looks similar?

not sure why someone down voted you, I'm happy to hear this; take this helpful upvote
The question is why does anyone care about votes? Is there some benefit to them or is it just Facebook crowd that cares about likes?

It has a VOTOL EM-85 controller which can be tuned just like the far driver, although from what I understand, the software and overall process for tuning the controller is not as user friendly as the far driver. With that said, I have found alternative applications built by other VOTOL customers that are much more user friendly than the official tuning app and I currently have two of them hosted on Vercel. PM me if you want the links.

What is the top speed
Top speed out of the box is 37 MPH but you should be able to tune it up to around 50-ish depending on your weight.

People have committed manslaughter riding these things, don't buy it for your underage children.

This is a death trap, don't buy this for yourself or your kids. I love AliExpress for certain things but when your health and safety are concerned get something from a reputable manufacturer.
