P.S. I've found most carbon fiber filaments are actually less functional (more brittle, prone to breaking) in most use cases (printing thin layers or small pieces of plastic). The CF does make the filament more rigid, which typically means that it is more resilient to compression/impact/warping if you were printing a solid brick of the hybrid material.
However, the small carbon fiber fragments in the base plastic are actually a pollutant that reduces adhesion of the plastic itself. Carbon fiber needs to be linear and latticed to actually increase sturdiness across the length of a print. This is why a delaminated Carbon fiber bumper or bicycle frame looses all its strength once lattice is compramised. I bought CF filaments initially thinking it would be best for all functional prints, but ended up discovering that for things like hooks and shelves, ABS or even PETG proved to be the superior material. There are filaments where long carbon fiber strands run linearly along the filament, but they are extremely expensive and niche.

I've added a conch nozzle to mine, finished the enclosure. Now I have a nice little PETG-CF machine to print functional parts.

Using PETG to support PLA and PLA to support PETG gives super clean break aways with zero Z distance.
edit: I read the comment and you've already answered this question. That being said you can still print single color and paint even if you have a multicolor printer, win win to have both options for not too much more $$
