In for one. Don't get the Vertuo hate - I actually prefer it to the original. Looks like if you want other colors this model is also on sale at the official Nespresso website for the same price WITHOUT the Aeroccino3 milk frother (another $89-99 at various retailers). Can't imagine ever needing it as the Vertuo is pretty foamy to begin with.
I've been drinking drip coffee & cold brew my entire life, and this thing has been an absolute game changer for me. It makes the best coffee I've ever brewed at home, and holds up against the best coffeehouses in my area. Not the cheapest way to enjoy a cup of joe, but it's actually *enjoyable* - I find myself looking forward to a cup every single day, and have to force myself to stay away from it throughout the afternoon so I can sleep at night.
The frother isn't necessary for coffee (it's plenty frothy on its own), but if you're a fan of cappuccinos or lattes, it pairs great with the espresso pods & a cup of milk.
Thanks to a post here on Slickdeals, I got this set from QVC (in silver) with a dozen pods + a voucher for an additional 50 pods for $70 last month. That was obviously waaay underpriced, but knowing how good it is NOW, I wouldn't hesitate to spend $100 on it. It's really that good.
Again, you're going to spend a lot more than a few pennies for a cup of coffee using this thing, but IMO it's worth it.
I love my Nespresso. I refill my own pods with Lavazza coffee and they make amazing lattes. Some of their own pods are good too. Highly recommend (if you can get past the ORANGE).
