Batteries don't have the torque in my experience.

Don't sleep on this if you want the definitive corded miter saw for most use cases. It is heavy, but it's corded so you're probably not looking at this to run around town. I like the Milwaukee Fuel 10 inch to grab and go.

Get the Ridgid portable mobile from homey depot. It has bigger wheels for steps & rough terrain.
