This is basically no warranty, rather extended return period.
I will not touch anything from Woot with a 10ft pole without 2yr warranty of some kind. The just sell repackaged returns. Someone could put water from their garden pond where their dog pissed into and then return it.

With flimsy plastic high-failure-rate appliances like espresso makers, especially this expensive, it's extremely risky to buy one without a warranty.
There's another certified refurb on ebay for $20 more with a 2yr Allstate warranty (authorized seller). I'd go with that over Woot.
