This DeWalt oscillating multi tool kit stands out for the extra accessories bundled with the Home Depot version, including the yellow storage box, tool bag, blade case, and more sanding paper. The 20V 2.0Ah battery and brushless three speed tool make it feel like a stronger package than similar Lowe's or Amazon listings, and the yellow plungepoint blades are described as more precise and longer lasting. The charger is a point of comparison, since the included unit may differ from the expected model. A solid value if the accessory bundle matters.
Common Questions (4)
Yes. The Home Depot kit includes a yellow bag and a small case/box for blades, which are not always included in the Lowe's version. It also comes with extra sanding paper and the blade case is useful for keeping accessories organized.
The Home Depot DCS356D1 kit is reported to include a 2.0Ah battery, while the Lowe's DCS356C1 version came with a 1.5Ah battery in one purchase. The Home Depot bundle also adds more accessories, including a bag, box, and extra sanding paper.
The kit is associated with the DCB107 charger, which takes about 1.5 hours to charge the included 2Ah battery. One order instead arrived with the compact DCB1102 charger, which appears to have similar charging capacity to the DCB112.
The Home Depot bundle is described as the same exact kit as an Amazon listing in one case, but with more included accessories in another. The practical difference is the extra bag, box, and sanding paper, which can make the Home Depot deal the better value at the same price.
