This DeWalt oscillating multi tool kit stands out for the extra accessories bundled with the Home Depot version, including the yellow storage box, tool bag, blade case, and more sanding paper. The 20V 2.0Ah battery and brushless three speed tool make it feel like a stronger package than similar Lowe's or Amazon listings, and the yellow plungepoint blades are described as more precise and longer lasting. The charger is a point of comparison, since the included unit may differ from the expected model. A solid value if the accessory bundle matters.
The kit can include a storage box and a tool bag for organizing blades and accessories.
The included plungepoint blades may be designed for a different tooth profile that improves precision and extends service life.
The Home Depot bundle may ship with a faster DCB107 charger that can charge the 2Ah battery in about 1.5 hours.
The plungepoint blade set can come with extra sanding paper, which reduces the need to buy consumables immediately.
Some purchases may arrive without the yellow box or bag even when the price matches a comparable kit.
The charger model in the box can differ from expectations, such as receiving a compact DCB1102 instead of the listed charger.
The Lowe's and Home Depot model numbers can differ, so accessory and battery contents may not match across retailers.
The DCB107 charger can be too slow for larger batteries or multiple batteries compared with the DCB112 charger.
