I've been using the v1 since 2018 with almost no loss of battery life or quality. I get about 100 foot range with a clear conversation. It's really comfy to wear over literally an 8 hour day and then some if you're still gaming.
For the first 6 or so years, battery life was great... I could do a 12-hour session with no problem. Now I top it off if I'm working (8-5) and then gaming that night (until 10). Still works fine aside from that.
The only complaint is that the earpads flake after a while. I am considering the v2 here, especially if it's USB-C. I hope the earpads are better.

Earpads can be replaced with generic versions in Amazon, suede ones feel even better than the original.
