I don't see why these are so discounted, probably because the Neo is so cheap?
Believe new CEO wants Apple to go for the kill. Been 5 years since the M1 came out, and there's no competition forthcoming. $949 for a Macbook Air w/16GB/512GB is pretty good.
New is $949 now, so ~$900 represents a 5% discount. I might do that in person (my last Macbook pro was indistinguishable from new, and only had 1 charge cycle on the battery) but online, I might just spring for the NIB experience.
Anyone know what's the deal with warranty on these?
Seems the answer is the 1 year starts "whenever it was purchased new." Given the M5 Air only came out in March, that's not so bad.
In for a Midnight at $901, hopefully it comes sealed, that would be nice. This seems like the best deal lately compared to the various $950 options, and $759 M4 Refurb not being cheaper enough to be worth it.

The 760 M4 has a 256gb ssd. This is a better deal for a newer chip and bigger ssd.
These "used" MacBooks come in and out of stock every couple of days. I bought mine for $901.55 + tax on May 6 and it was also a brand new unit in a sealed box.
