Lifetime seems like a good deal. Can anyone pls help to explain this Microsoft definition of "lifetime" license? Once the key is activated, is there a place we can validate if it's shown or indicated as lifetime? Thank you!

I bought once from this vendor. Instead of a key code for activation, they asked me to download an "activation file" which was promptly deleted.

That's incredibly suspicious - at best they're selling illegal software cracks, at worst they're distributing malicious software they can compromise your computer and your life. Consider not doing this.

Did you put the key on an official Microsoft website or in office? I don't want to activate via a 3d party website or software.
