Had one of these. Ended up melting down the main connection. Maybe it was my fault. Only ran one tool at a time but continued use between multiple tools. Unfortunately other lesser/no name brands have continued working without a hitch. Could have been a defect in my unit as well. Just figured I'd share my experience.

Interesting. I have several of these and use them for (extreme) holiday decorating. They've held up for me for years. My only complaint is that the flappy rubber outlet cover things eventually tear off. Maybe all my animatronics and lights don't pull as much juice as power tools, but I have a lot of decorations...like an embarrassing amount. YMMV, I suppose.

My local store doesn't have any stock but another store with a longer drive does have 13 in stock. I will take a drive this weekend. Thanks for posting.

Picked one up yesterday, as well as a few of the outdoor power strips on clearance. The Home Depot in Watertown MA still had a bunch (more than what they said on the web site). Back wall, close to far left of store.

the fact that it's only 15 amps is crazy. That's the power of just one saw. What exactly do they expect people to plug into this thing? No idea why they didn't just make it at least 20 amps.
