My $6 Milk Frother just broken after a couple of years. I guess the motor is broken. I try to find one with brushless motor, but cannot find one. I actually prefer using AA battery, and just need one head. Having rechargeable is less reliable than battery operated. I have a scale using rechargeable battery. Battery can not be charged anymore, have to use it along with charger.

A brushless motor for something like frothing milk is a bit overkill, but I can understand it from a longevity sense. I would love one with a detachable head because my wife uses a frother quite often, but washes the whole thing... batteries and all. Having a detachable head means the body can stay dry.

These things are great I have one sitting in my drawer for a little over 3 years right now still in the box. I'd say definitely not for a lazy person

Personally I don't need a frother. So I got the cheapest one I could find (still hasn't been used) in case someone needed a cappuccino. So if you're near an Ikea store, it's available for $4.

Interesting, I've been wondering about getting something like this to help me mix up my overnight oats (milk, protein powder, flax seed in the bowl before adding the oats). But I don't want it putting a bunch of air bubbles in it either. Right now I just whisk with a fork.

I bought mine, with a lot less features and only one head, for $4.50.

It had a stand though. Get one with a stand, it will make a huge difference.

OP84XJDP seems to still work on the white one, but sometimes it can take a couple of tries for Amazon to accept codes
