How long are these sales usually good for? I was waiting for an open box from Best Buy but I noticed today that even though they're all unavailable near me, they jacked up the open box price by more than $100.

So I'm wondering if I should just bite the bullet and order directly from Samsung.

Depends on the size of your room and how bright you have it at. But, in general, it does radiate a good amount of heat from the front and the back.

If you ever wonder about something like this, look at the power requirement, it's more or less the same as an electric heater of that same wattage. Now most electric heaters are 1500W max, the monitor is listed at 300W max, so probably like having that electric heater on low perpetually, but stuff in your computer probably draws even more power, especially the graphics card you'd need to properly tame this beast, so everything together would mean you never go cold.

With HDR on, yeah. Otherwise not too bad.

This is one of those "you think you want it, but you don't" pieces of hardware.

Fastest return of a product ever. Happily went back to two nice curved 27" monitors.
