The Xbox series X launched for $499 in November 2020. With our runaway inflation, $499 in November 2020 adjusted to March 2026 dollars is $633.

While might argue that 6 year old tech should have dropped more, it's still the latest generation and we continue in times of unprecedented technology prices.

Cherry picking the deep discounts that were seen for a few days in November and a few days in December 2023 as holding those up as typical prices is disingenuous. Most of those deals were only available for a few hours/days with a limited stock at certain retailers.

Not really a deal. In a normal cycle 2019, this would have been $300-$350. I guess we lived in simpler times then ....

Getting a LOT of downvotes lol. IMO it was a solid deal though if you're in the market for all three items in today's AI climate sadly.

Pretty sure the cheapest it's ever been is $350, and that was without an extra controller
