I just came back from my local here in Charleston, SC. The place was swarming with reps from Craftsman and Dewalt, the one I dealt with was here from NC. It was a simple hand off of my (still good) 1 ah, she handed me a new charger and battery with a coupon, made a mention of 1 per person and we exchanged a few pleasantries where I mentioned having another in the car to which she invited me to another event nearby in a few days. An hour later at the close of the event, I tried my luck again, using the excuse that she could save the planet by saving this old man from leaving the house, burning gas and making another special trip, but it was still a polite "no". For the next event, I am taking my wife with me and maybe my FiL.
Now, what 3 products do I need for $50 off each?

They handed me a boxed battery with charger with a coupon after verifying the oem battery, not even an i.d. check. The event closed at 1400.
It is also "Miracle Gro" days, so the place was swarming for my little 'burg.

Has anyone attended one of these. Given that this is a "will be provided on a first come, first served basis" I'm curious if they have an ample supply for a large turnout or basically just offer it for 10 customers and then shell out some sort of lame coupon for the remaining 40 people or whatever that shows up.

You do not. Coupons are valid 5/1 - 8/15. Coupon states "valid in-store", however I was able successfully use the coupon code online.
