Yep, tried in store on the combo special and it didn't work and cashier said he couldn't do anything after reading the fine print. So I tried it online on both the combo special and a full price item and it says the code is invalid. I couldn't imagine there would be codes that don't have the same applicability at different battery exchang events? My coupon looked like it was cut from regular 8.5 x 11 printer paper with out of square edges. There is another event at my local store on Friday so I'm hoping to try again.

next event for me isnt until the weekend but based on what people are saying here not sure if I need to be there first thing (6am) or I can come a little later around (8-9am)? Dont want to wait around for a long time if they guy shows up later...

I'd just wait until 8 or 9am....unless maybe your store is in a heavily populated area with lots of SDers.

I went to a store in the middle of Silicon Valley at 8:30 AM on Saturday and there was no line or anything.
Craftsman tools aren't that popular.

NJ location hooked me up with two batteries and two coupons. Air inflator and another battery and cashier easily scanned my coupons and walked right out. $0 out of pocket. I joked about coming back and the craftsman rep said Ill be here as he told me he had 15 more batteries still to give out. Thank you gentlemen. I needed an air inflator for the kids toys and such and was not disappointed.

Went to the one in Reynoldsburg, Ohio and there were only 5 offers. I got there at 9:15 and waited around 15 mins before the rep said I didn't have to wait until 10 and he gave myself and the other guy in line the battery.
