This adjustable dumbbell set stands out as a sturdy, easy to use home gym option at a strong $99 price. The contoured handle and twist to adjust design make weight changes quick, and the fixed handle length is still preferred over Bowflex style systems for convenience. The 55 pound capacity gives more room than lighter sets, though the dumbbells do run a bit long and the handle length does not change with the load. It feels like a practical upgrade if you want a simple adjustable pair without paying for a premium set.
Common Questions (5)
Yes. The weights adjust easily, and the twist-handle design makes changing loads fast between sets. That makes them practical for workouts where you want to move quickly without fiddling with multiple parts.
$99 is described as near the lowest price seen for this set and a strong value for a 55-lb adjustable pair. Similar CAP options exist for less, but they have smaller weight ranges, so this deal is better if you want the heavier set.
The set is described as sturdy and well made, with multiple buyers saying they feel solid after purchase. One caveat is that a handle cracked on one unit, and replacement support was needed.
The CAP set is quicker to adjust than Bowflex because you only twist the handle instead of both ends, and the handle stays the same length at all weights. It is also positioned as a much cheaper alternative to PowerBlock-style sets, with similar convenience at a far lower price.
They stay the same length no matter how much weight is loaded, so they can feel a bit long compared with some other adjustable dumbbells. That fixed length is the main tradeoff for the simpler twist adjustment.
