This adjustable dumbbell set stands out as a sturdy, easy to use home gym option at a strong $99 price. The contoured handle and twist to adjust design make weight changes quick, and the fixed handle length is still preferred over Bowflex style systems for convenience. The 55 pound capacity gives more room than lighter sets, though the dumbbells do run a bit long and the handle length does not change with the load. It feels like a practical upgrade if you want a simple adjustable pair without paying for a premium set.
The dumbbells feel very well made and sturdy at the $99 price point.
The set reportedly adjusts easily and feels well made for lighter training use.
The handle adjustment is quick because twisting the handle changes weights without adjusting both ends.
Weight changes are easy during workouts, and the swap process helps get back to training quickly.
The handles stay the same length at all weights, which differs from Powerblocks-style adjustable designs.
The dumbbells can be a bit long in length, even if that does not affect every user.
A handle crack reportedly occurred on one unit after purchase, requiring a customer service replacement.
A prior cheaper version reportedly dropped a weight near the toe, raising concerns about robustness.
