Garmin tries to push their overpriced products with all means possible, as nobody buys them.
In case there is anyone who may consider this, Garmin out of greed (beginning with this 110/210 updated series) started sealing a tiny rechargeable and non-replaceable li-ion battery in the welded body, they claim that the battery doesn't need to be charged often, but under sun this black plastic body heats above 200F and there are already reports that the batteries die prematurely, aaand... a replacement pedal is needed. With 2 years warranty, they want customers to buy $1200 pedals on a regular basis.
