It is definitely more of a risk as you aren't going to get the level of customer service of brands that sell at a higher price.

I'm just saying that it would be cool if it could also adjust charging voltage down to 12v as well as part of its range. What makes that vapid?

Since the purchase was around $500, I wanted to return them and simply buy a different battery configuration that would fit properly. I was completely willing to pay the return shipping costs myself, because I understood the mistake was mine and not the seller's fault.
The frustrating part was the return process itself. EcoWorthy through AliExpress kept giving me the run around instead of providing a straightforward return path. Communication was inconsistent, responses were delayed, and it became very difficult to get a clear answer on how to actually complete the return. That's really the point I've been trying to make to people.
I agree with you that lower-cost vendors often won't provide the same level of customer service as premium brands. My concern is that many consumers are used to dealing with companies like Amazon or Walmart, where even when the customer makes a mistake, the return process is usually simple and transparent. AliExpress operates very differently, and I think buyers should understand that before making a major purchase.
So my warning is less about the batteries themselves and more about understanding the risks, return policies, dispute procedures, and customer service limitations before spending a large amount of money through that platform.
