The Grandma was causing the relational and physical aspects of the household (Casita) to fall apart because she was not willing to accept or love Mirabel for who she was (the only Madrigal family member to not have superpowers or "gifts"). This was causing cracks in the household, much like how not accepting a family member for who they are in real life can cause cracks in the family structure. Something like that. Of course a house that moves on its own is never going to make sense, but it's a kid movie with magic in it.

The story drives our whole family a little crazy, it's really contrived. I get that they were going for the Colombian Magical Realism theme, but it was just a little much.

We don't talk about you know who, bro.

I was really happy to see an animated flick not relying too heavily on major Hollywood stars for a change.

Emperor's New Groove and Kronk's New Groove on sale, yes please. I've had google play credits I was trying to use before they expire and I really didn't want to spend $20 to get the digital version.
