This is a good deal, and the good version of this jigsaw. Don't get the non-HP version because the tilt adjustment lock on that one is UNDER the foot which means you'd have to pick up the tool from the work to adjust the tilt rather than adjust it while you're sitting on the work.

Interesting. I lack the skill/knowledge to understand the use case for needing to adjust tilt in the middle of a cut, but that's something for me to learn later. Even without that gripe, I completely agree with skipping on the brushed Ryobi jigsaw. It stalls easily and was a headache every time I tried using it.
