So tempting, I have white, thinking of getting black, so I and mix and match panels. For my black and white setup.

Same. Crazy tempting, but I will stick with the 5000d that was on sale a few days ago for ~$65 on Woot.

I bought this model a few years ago. It was very solid when I built a PC, however I have read that the newer models weren't as good.

Yes, I bought the new 4000d before switching to the 5000d. The 4000d metal is thinner/flimsy and not nearly as well constructed as the 5000d. I heard they plan to improve the thickness 4000d metal sometime in late May - not sure when it will be available to the public though. That said, 5000d is significantly heavier so harder to move around.

I'd love this except I'm too lazy to move my stuff out of my Fractal Meshify C. Good deal.

I got a 5000D for my media server a couple months back, and it was a very enjoyable PC build process. They thought of a lot of nice features and functions for running wires, adding hard drives, cooling, etc. Came with a bunch of fans too, which is well worth the extra ~20 bucks.

Is the 5000D bigger in size or is it the same size as the 4000D

How many hard drives have you been able to add to it? I bought one as well but it looks like you'd need to get creative to add more than two 3" drives.

It's quite a bit larger. It comes with four 140mm fans vs three 120mm fans.

Ah ok. I was regretting my recent 4000D purchase based on your comment about steel thickness, but honestly can't fit anything larger.
