The speculation last time was LG, it's equivalent to the B Series OLED from what I remember.
I needed a spare office TV to replace an aging LCD, this was very good for the money. I have an LG OLED upstairs, this isn't as good as that, but I plugged in an Apple TV and Switch 2 and both work fantastic, the picture is really good too. There will be people saying save your money, if you don't want to spend 900$ + for an OLED, this has been a great option.
I have both the expensive OLED and this, the C Series from LG obviously will look better, but this is marginally not as good a picture, but at half the savings. For anyone coming from not OLED to start withl this will be a major step up.

Thank you for the insight, our old LG LCD TV broke and we are looking to get a new one. I was hoping for OLED but we don't want to spend more than $700, so I was looking at QLED's and such. This seems like a pretty sweet deal

The 48 inch B5 is $600 at best buy, at least for the last two weeks.
Bought this from Microcenter almost a year ago. DO NOT CONNECT IT TO THE INTERNET. Google has pushed updates that have bricked the TV on several occasions.
Connect an Apple TV or other streaming device and leave it at that. As of right now, my remote for the TV doesn't work and there's no way to get it to connect. For months the TV wouldn't turn on with my Apple TV or use my sound bar. Eventually another update was pushed that fixed everything but I wish I had just never connected it in the first place.

Did it really get bricked or did it just suddenly lose a feature (remote) or two after an update?
