You're lucky AMC doesn't ban you from theaters for committing fraud. The promo is 99 cents to the first month if you agree to 3 months (full price for the 2nd and the 3rd). If you're too cheap to abide by the offer terms for sign up, best if you don't sign up at all. Fraud drives up prices for the rest of moviegoers.
Unless I am misunderstanding this offer gets you the $20 voucher + 4 free tickets (one each month) in addition to the $10 credit (for a ticket or at home) per month.

I'm pretty sure they made more money than lost money, just from the number of people who signed up without realizing there's a three-month commitment.
Not going to rationalize right or wrong with you. The onus falls on the consumer to abide by offer terms, much like people who get suckered into buying timeshares without knowing what they're getting into with regards to fees longer term. The AMC offer was for 3 months, and those who actively game the offer by knowing paying for only one month are committing fraud by not adhering to the terms…plain and simple.
It's $9.99 per month, so why would I pay $50 for just four months? The only thing the monthly membership doesn't have is the $20 Fandango At Home credits. Everything else such as the $10 free ticket per month and $10 free merchandise per month is already part of the monthly membership.
No, you also get 4 free movie tickets. 1 each month. That's separate from the usual $10 code that you can use for a movie.

I agree with you there.
Just wanted to point out that they weighed the risks and benefits, and decided that even with people gaming the system, they would come out profitable.
Do the monthly free movie tickets expire? ie can I save up four tickets to bring the family in August?
As per their terms, they all expire 12/26. So you should be able to use unused codes all at once for a family movie night out, as long as you are still the member at the time of redemption of free ticket codes.

They cancelled my A-List membership because my AMC theaters don't scan tickets. They just rip the ticket stubs. I didn't know that this is a violation until someone told me, and after claiming 5 weeks and 20 free tickets without scanning one, AMC terminated my A-List before the renewal. Basically I'm off the hook for the two months.
People are using one-time use virtual cc number to sign up for $1 A-List, or using a prepaid Visa/MC (frequent deals from Staples) and empty the card before the renewal. By not paying the other two months at full price, you're breaching a contract. The most AMC can do is sue you. But they won't. They can't even bill you for the two months because technically that services was never delivered. Fraud is a criminal offense. No one is going to jail because legally nothing was stolen.
If the AMC A-List issue is so serious, they could have done what Fandango did by charging three months for the price of two. But they've been running this promo for years.

Is this the end of the 12/26? Would love to be able to save them for DunesDay

So I just subscribed and...it's not bad if you game it properly. I got the $20 code within the hour, but be sure to use it on a bundle of $20 or more as you will lose anything you don't use. Same for the four extra $10 credits that are provided. One is immediate and then the rest are monthly. Then you also get the four free tickets, one distributed immediately and then the rest monthly too.
You can save roughly $50 total by buying this if you are heavy on the streaming train and visiting theaters.
Edit: the $20 code is applied immediately and then used on anything you checkout, while the $10 code needs to be applied while checking out, which the mix and match deals do not have. Keep that in mind when planning purchases. I used the $20 for the Mother's Day Mix and Match, but could not use the $10 to apply toward the 5 for $15 DC Animated Features.

I looked at the movies being released this summer. There's just not a lot of good ones. Ever since I got a proper recliner and big screen OLED, I hate going to theaters. The picture at home is better, it's more convenient, cheaper, I can eat better food. It's sad, I used to love the theater but I hate people too. Whether it's other people in the audience or surly employees unhappy they have to do their JOBS, it bothers me. When I was a kid, I used to be ashamed when I made retail cashiers or employees mad. After working different jobs, I do realize a lot of these people are horrible and borderline unemployable, so I put up with this less because I KNOW what a terrible customer is and I am NOT that. I just had some weird dude at a convenience store ask me "Why are you coming into the store all the time so late?"
"BECAUSE I WANT TO SPEND MONEY AND KEEP YOU EMPLOYED?"
Wow, just wow.
Thank God for Amazon and big TVs.
I see someone said that the tickets expire at the end of the year, but are they still valid if I cancel the subscription? Also, can I use 3 different ticket codes from 3 different subscriptions in 1 purchase?
EDIT: I read "All codes expire on 12/31/26 or when your FanClub membership ends (whichever comes first)."
So that answers my first part of my question, but what about using 3 different codes at once?
