I bought the 10R new on a Amazon almost a month ago. While I like it, I'm going to return it and get the Saros 20. I have tile, laminate, and carpet at my house. It's great at mopping and vacuuming the hard surfaces, but with carpet it leaves human hairballs on the carpet. Often there's also long hair trailing the robot where the vacuum exhaust is.

Can't speak to roborock. But I did purchase a Dreame on a similar deal. Arrived basically brand new. There was some damage to the box, but everything else seemed to be in tact.

Which Dreame model and how do you like it? My Roborock Qrevo Master broke sent it in for All State warranty and they refunded me. I ordered the X50 refurbished and waiting on receiving it.
Debated on the Saros 10R refurb but at almost $300 more could not justify it the cost difference. A lot of YouTubers place the x50 at the top for 2025.
X50 for $500 hard to beat and with 2-year Allstate warranty.

I have no skin in this game yet, as I'm unsure what brand to go with. But people on Reddit claim roborock support is absolute trash.

A couple years ago I bought a refurbished Q7, still running strong. The mapping is 100% better compared to my dumb Roomba which doesn't seem like it has mapping it just bounces around.
I would buy the Q7 again.

I have been using the S7 model daily for the last 5 years for 5-day a week cleaning. I owned Roomba and Neato models before, all purchased via SD over the years. Just among the three Roborock 5 years ago was phenomenal, especially the navigation and reliability. I can't speak of maintenance as it has not failed yet.

First one I ordered looked used. Had water droplets and smell moldy but looks new. Returned and bought another.

The second one I received definitely looks like a manufactured refurbished (looks new and clean).

I bought something a little on the lower end. I got an L40 Ultra for like 260 shipped on one of their sales. Love it so far. It isn't perfect by any stretch, but it is certainly better than me not mopping

Have had the S5 Max from Roborock for years now. It still runs, but this deal was too good not to upgrade for the stronger suction of the Q7. Very happy with Roborock. My Q7 arrived yesterday and I can't wait to get it running.

Pretty much the same experience here. Previous vacs were basically gadgets but the two Roborocks I've had have been solid and reliable for vacuuming. Mopping not so much but I didn't expect much from the lower-end models I've had.

Don't toss your s5 max
I did the same exact upgrade last year and was dissapointed in the q7 comparatively. Not bad, just not as good.
Ended up with a s8 pro ultra refurb later, but that s5 max still rocks as a second machine on another floor. Q7 was given away.
