I bought these and returned them. There is no way these were 100w equivalent. I replaced my daughter's 60watt bulds and these 100w were either equal or dimmer than the old bulbs. And to top it off I had to order these 3 times. First time it got lost in transit second time it went back to Amazon.

I got some LED bulbs from Costco when they was on Sale and wow they much brighter but no heat. Which better. I order bulbs before from Amazon and it not as good.

I ordered these before and he's right definitely not 100W. Expect lower quality from anything amazon related. It's their suppliers getting a golden ticket and exploting.

The bulbs you finally ended up getting, did you inspect the markings to see they were labeled 15w? Maybe you didn't get what you ordered?

If they're 15W they should be similar to 100W incandescent. The color temp is 2700k though, which is on the yellower side and can look dimmer in some environments. 60W equivalent is usually under 10W.
I wish we'd just drop the dumb "wattage equivalent" and just call them what they are, since it's an approximation and no one uses incandescent bulbs much anymore.

You're right that they're definitely not 100W, because they're 15W LEDs. Many of us have great experiences with Amazon products.

It's is either a California thing or Amazon, due to strict policy or Laws.

Is it not green enough for Californians???

I see "temporarily out of stock" and not accepting new orders for the 100w bulbs
