New WM+ accounts only according to the fine print item 2. Please report back if you an existing WM+ member and get the deal to work anyway. Good deal for new members though.

After the free year you have to pay? Or it'll be free again?

I just did this, my W+ expired and I spend about $800/month there on groceries so this was a no brainer. Easy process and get back probably $500 a year in CB

What do you use walmart+ for?

Also how good is this card? I shop at walmart quite a bit as well.

you can get 5% back at walmart and walmart.com with the free venmo debit card, the catch is that you have to make one $500 "direct" deposit every month. I fulfill that requirement by initiating a $500 transfer from my bank's website, then transfer it right back after it gets to my venmo account.

Walmart? Isn't that the company that is ripping you off by giving you less than you paid for?

Here are all the benefits of W+ https://www.walmart.com/plus Since the card offers 5% cash back with W+, this is a nice free deal if you shop there a lot. But you have to be cool with a credit inquiry on your credit file.

$300??? Holy shit, you people sell yourself wayyyy too cheap....Staying under 5/24 is important enough that I don;t do anything unless i see value of $500 or more for a hard pull..

Is there an offer of $500 you're referring to that is reasonable? If you have to spend $2-$3k to get it then it isn't really that great for most people in a recession. We used to get $200-$300 for $500 spend.

If you are already planning to spend big on something and really need to stay within 5/24, then yeah, that makes sense. Nothing wrong with $300 if the ratio is good for most people, though.

Besides, there is evidence that 5/24 is no longer a hard rule and it's going to change anyway.
