Game is also on Steam. Steam code should be an option. I don't play online only games so it was a pass for me either way. All I wanted from this bundle was Shin Megami V so easy to pass on this month and just get a cheap code for that later.

To be fair, I feel like Blizzard games belong on Battle.net? Having grown up with them, it feels weird that they're on Steam at all now.

Also, worth noting that this is just the base game for Diablo IV. Vessel of Hatred is no longer purchasable, but is included with Lord of Hatred, the new expansion that just released. Price of this bundle ($15) + Lord of Hatred ($40) = $55, still less than the price of the "Age of Hatred Collection" ($70) that includes both on BNet or Steam.
if i own it on bnet can i play on steam?

Funny how I still have membership active from the 50% off deal last week but if you try to claim these games, they want immediate $15 payment renewal. Talk about greed.

I think I finally figured it out in my head.

The 'choice' is the pay for the games or not. It's not a subscription per-say, although much like Columbia House, if you do nothing you get the items anyway and are charged.

So, you are billed at the start of your plan. Then each month, they bill on the last Tuesday. That last Tuesday is the day you get your games if you do nothing and the day you are charged.

If you want the games early, you pay at the time you get them. (this counts for the last Tuesday payment) If you think the games suck for the month, you can skip the month or cancel your plan as long as you do so by that last Tuesday of the month.

So, when you got your items at the end of April, you paid then. For May, if you want the games right now, you pay again now. (April's payment was for April's games). Or, you could wait until the last Tuesday of May and just let it happen automatically.

You got 50% off a great bundle. That's not the time to talk about greed. Assassins creed Odyssey cost 300 million to make and you got that and 6-7 other games for 8.50 for life...

Steam cultists are still a thing? Yeesh. Y'all will subscribe to multiple streaming services to see all the shows/movies you want, but are too lazy to manage a 2nd launcher app for games. "I'm proud to say that I've passed on every free game Epic or GOG has given away cuz STEAM 4EVAH!!! Lord GabeN be thy name!!! Wooooooo!!!!"
Not a deal breaker for me but it would have been to have a steam key to make it easier to run on steam deck.

Nope. Back in the day, I bought MW2 on Battle.net. Even with the free Warzone on Steam, it wouldn't let me play the base game. It just didn't recognize my purchase, even with linked accounts. Since this is a paid game, it definitely won't be playable on Steam if you don't own it on Steam, even if you bought it on Battle.net.

Steam is rated better than any other DRM platform (and for good reason) and has existing for a quarter century. You know your DRM will be there next year or next decade. Even Microsoft has screwed their users by taking down "Games for Windows Live." To be fair to Blizzard, they've been around forever too but only have their content, and all locked inside an extremely closed ecosystem. And none of the other amazing things that Steam has like Steam input, Steam hardware, super consumer friendly return policies, etc.

And its not managing two apps, but 2 dozen. But god forbid when I pay $$$ for something, I want to enjoy it on the platform of my choosing. OMG....such a horrible concept. But I must be in a "cult" because I have a different opinion than you do...can't have that in your free thinking world Wink

Huh? It's a monthly bundle and this is a new month (Humble choice starts on the 1st Tue of every month).

What other monthly subscription gives you two months of service for every one payment?

Nordhold is dope. I think I paid $13 just for that one on sale. I'm a fan of tower defense games though.
